Founded in 1905 in East London, bespoke furniture makers Restall Brown & Clennell boast a long and prestigious heritage. The luxury company employ only the most experienced craftsmen and polishers to create exquisite handmade traditional English furniture.
Restall Brown & Clennell offer three main furniture collections including Traditional, Classically Inspired and Art Deco alongside a comprehensive bespoke design service. The Traditional collection features a wealth of original designs from the past 100 years and is complimented by the Classically Inspired and Art Deco collections. The three very distinct ranges work together perfectly, offering a wide range of pieces to fit within both traditional and contemporary room settings.
The Head Office and factory are located in Lewes, East Sussex where the majority of the staff are based. Restall, Brown & Clennell also boast an enviable staff retention record with many employees staying with the firm for all their working lives. Our London showroom is coming soon....
In March 2010 Restall Brown & Clennell was acquired by business entrepreneur Stephen Mouland who continues the tradition of high quality hand made furniture while bringing commercial expertise and innovation to this well established British Manufacturer. He is supported by many of the original team including Louise Pardoe, Head of Sales who continues to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business, and Tiffany Ring who joined last year as Senior Sales and Marketing.
Stewart Frith and Roy Fisher, both long standing members of the manufacturing team, continue to provide the experience and expertise necessary to produce our luxury brand furniture. This strong team are now working together to inject new life into this long established brand and are proving to be a highly successful combination.
Restall Brown & Clennell’s reputation for excellence is far reaching, and has resulted in the company exporting substantial quantities of furniture to the USA, Japan, Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
This luxurious hand-made furniture also graces many national and international city institutions, palaces, private residences, embassies and 6 star hotels.
